Rules for using Ranko.

Using Ranko means accepting these terms

By accessing or using Ranko, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to any policies that are incorporated by reference, including the Privacy Policy.

Minimum age and authority

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Ranko.
• If you use Ranko on behalf of a business or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

Sign-in and account responsibility

• Some features require an account and may use Apple, Google, or other supported sign-in methods.
• You are responsible for your account security and for activity that occurs through your account, to the extent permitted by law.
• You should keep your account information reasonably accurate.

What Ranko allows users to do

Ranko allows users to create, organize, save, share, discover, clone, and interact with ranking-based content. Features may change over time and some may be beta, limited, delayed, or available only to certain tiers or regions.

Ownership and license

You retain rights you have in the content you submit, subject to the rights you grant to Ranko to host, store, process, display, distribute, and use that content to operate, improve, and promote the service.

• You must have the rights needed to upload and share your content.
• Public Rankos may be featured in-app, on the website, or in marketing related to Ranko.

What users must not do

• Do not break the law, infringe rights, or upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, scam, spam, or exploit other users.
• Do not abuse, scrape, disrupt, or attempt to bypass service limits or restrictions.

How Ranko may respond to violations

Ranko may review, restrict, remove, or refuse content or accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect users, comply with legal obligations, or maintain service integrity.

Subscriptions and premium access

• Ranko may offer paid subscriptions or premium features, including Ranko Gold benefits.
• Subscriptions sold through Apple are governed by Apple’s billing and renewal systems.
• You are responsible for managing or cancelling App Store subscriptions through your Apple account.

App Store purchases

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple’s own policies and processes unless otherwise required by law.

Service updates and downtime

• Ranko may change, limit, suspend, or remove features for maintenance, safety, legal compliance, or business reasons.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with all devices or regions.

Limits of responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranko is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ranko will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Final legal details

• These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, except where non-excludable consumer laws apply.
• Where permitted by law, disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be resolved by binding arbitration in Victoria, Australia.
